Garima Sharma is Assistant Professor at Kogod School of Business of the American University.
Her research focuses on organizational tensions and paradoxes such as the tensions of purpose and profits. She is also interested in understanding how research impacts practice, and the topics of rigor-relevance and knowledge cocreation. Her research has been published in Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, and Journal of Management Studies among others.
Garima Sharma is a Visiting Fellow at CAS LMU from March to April 2026 upon invitation of Prof. Dr. Ali Aslan Gümüşay (LMU).
